• Mahachandra Prasad Singh : He is 6 time congress MLC from Chaapra Graduate constituency. He is a long serving legislator and a respected congressman.

• Dr. Ravindra Kumar Rai : He belongs from a Zamindar Family of Giridih District. His Grandfather Nageshwar Rai was also MLa of 1st Vidhansabha of Bihar.
