Kailashpati Mishra / "Bhishmapitamah" of Bihar
Kailashpati Mishra (Birth 5th October 1926, Dudharchak, Buxar, Bihar in a Bhumihar Brahmin family) is a leader of Bharatiya Janta Party and a former governor of Gujarat and Rajasthan states in India. Kailashpati Mishra, a bachelor and popularly called the "Bhishmapitamah" of Bihar has been affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since 1944 and was even jailed after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.Mishra was also appointed Bihar's finance minister in 1977-78 when the Janata Party government was in power.
