विपुल विजय सिंह

DGP Vipul Vijoy , a 1983 batch IPS officer, Vijoy is originally from Bihar whose father Lalit Vijoy Singh was an IPS officer who joined politics in late 1990s. He contested parliamentary election from Begusarai and won. He went on to become minister of state for defence in late prime minister Chandrashekar's government in 1990.
